We are a veteran owned commercial glass company. We specialize in all aluminum commercial fenestration products, including storefront, curtainwall and windows. We also have a water intrusion diagnostic team for determining reasons for water intrusion from improperly installed products.
We started as a residential glass company in 1989 by Matthew Schott a veteran of the Gulf War. We are located on Emerald Isle however our market base covers all of the east coast. As the market changed so did we focusing more on commercial glass needs as well as water intrusion diagnostics. Our competitive pricing has allowed us to complete projects in most states on the east coast.
Water Intrusion Diagnostic Work
We work with general contractors, engineers and architects in dissecting and determining issues related to the improper installation of commercial window and door applications. From a multistory curtain wall to a condominium complex of vinyl windows we have assembled a team of trained professionals who can make this sometime costly and difficult process much more streamline.
Blast Mitigation Systems
We offer all types of blast resistant products and glazing from commercial entrances to windows and sliding doors. In today's environment Blast Mitigation is becoming the forefront of some commercial building and all Military facilities. The Department of Defense (DoD) has issued the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) that prescribes the minimum design requirements for all DoD buildings. We offer systems from the top manufactures in their field of blast mitigation such as YKK, Kawneer, Boyd Windows and Starline. We always keep our training up to date with any manufactures standards.
Hurricane Resistant Products
Being located on the east coast means hurricane resistant products have become a fast growing section. We offer hurricane resistant products from many of the best in the field from YKK , Starline, Kawneer to Arcadia. We are constantly keeping our staff up to date with current hurricane building codes and regulations. We can provide hurricane resistant products for any commercial application from commercial entrances to sliding doors.
Curtain wall
Curtain wall framing is designed to be used in mid to high rise buildings where the loads and pressures are greater and performance is a must while maintaining an esthetically pleasing view. We offer curtainwall products from all the major vendors with our emphasis being on YKK. All of our field supervisors receive quarterly training updates to assure we are competently trained from our vendors. Precision and knowledge is a must when installing these products.
Storefront & Entrances
Storefront is generally called for in low rise building and shopping centers where high loads and pressure are not a factor. This encompasses most shopping malls, low rise office complexes and schools.
